The Tennis Federation of Moldova held a special meeting for representatives of the country’s sports and socio-political media at the National Tennis Center — a Media Brunch that combined a знакомства with the center’s infrastructure, playing tennis, and informal общения.
The morning for guests began with a tour of the National Tennis Center. The General Secretary of the Tennis Federation of Moldova, Natalia Belibova, guided journalists through the main facilities of the complex, explaining how the center operates and what opportunities it provides for players and coaches.

Guests were able to see not only the courts, locker rooms, restaurant area, fitness and medical facilities, but also spaces usually inaccessible to visitors: service areas and the working offices of the Tennis Federation of Moldova. Journalists got acquainted with how the center functions daily and where decisions shaping the development of tennis in the country are made.
After the tour, participants went out onto the courts — and that’s where the most active part of the program began.
A one-hour training session was organized for journalists under the guidance of four coaches, who divided participants into groups depending on their skill level. It started with a warm-up, followed by exercises on stroke technique and movement around the court, after which participants even tried playing a few rallies for score.

Initially, the training was planned to last about an hour, but the journalists became so engaged in the game that the session continued for more than an hour and a half. Many admitted they did not expect the game to be so dynamic and exciting, and would have gladly continued training if the event schedule had not required moving on.
In the second part of the Media Brunch, organizers presented journalists with one of the main sporting events of the year for Moldovan tennis — the official opening of the National Tennis Center, which will take place on May 23.
Guests were shown the event’s special poster for the first time, designed in the style of classic tennis posters. It features four participants of the upcoming exhibition match: legendary world tennis players Juan Martín del Potro and Simona Halep, as well as leading Moldovan tennis players Radu Albot and Lia Belibova. These athletes will play an exhibition mixed match, which will become the central event of the celebration day.

After the presentation, journalists were offered another interactive element — a tennis-themed quiz. Participants answered questions about tennis, sports, and interesting facts from the world of sports. The atmosphere quickly became lively: participants actively discussed answers, joked, and competed with each other. Quiz winners received memorable and practical prizes from the organizers.
In the informal part of the meeting, guests continued communication over brunch with coffee and croissants, discussing tennis, upcoming events, and their impressions of their first attempt (for some) to play on the court.

The Media Brunch took place in a warm and relaxed atmosphere. The Tennis Federation of Moldova hopes that this format allowed journalists to get closer to tennis and the work of the National Tennis Center, and that the information received will be interesting and useful for their readers and viewers.
Sometimes, to better understand a sport, it’s not enough just to write about it — sometimes you need to try playing it yourself. That is exactly what representatives of Moldovan media did today.
